Deting town

Deting town is located in the northwest of Song County, between Xiong'er mountain and Waifang mountain, 27 kilometers away from the county. It borders Luoning and Yiyang in the north, Muzhi street in the south, Chengguan, Hecun and Zhifang in the East, and Dazhang in the West.

Evolution of organizational system

In the 32nd year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty (1906), the whole territory of Deting was divided into three groups, namely, the Deting group in santuli, Songxian County, and the Zuoyu group and Manyu group in Jiuxian county. In 1932, Deting belonged to the West District of Song County, which was divided into zuoyuli, detingli and manyuli. After the liberation of Song County in October 1947, Deting district was established. In 1949, Dazhang District, Deting district and Jiuxian county were collectively called Dazhang district. In August 1955, they were separated and changed to Deting district. In January 1956, they were changed to Deting Central Township. In June 1958, Deting Central Township was divided into Manyu Township and Deting township. In August of the same year, it merged with Dazhang and Jiuxian to form Xinhua (Dazhang) people's commune. In October 1961, Xinhua people's commune was abolished, and Deting was separated from Dazhang to establish a small commune under the jurisdiction of Dazhang district. In 1963, the district was withdrawn and the commune was merged into four small communes, namely, Deting, Manyu, hotel and Zuoyu, to establish the Deting people's commune. In March 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Deting commune was established. In January 1984, the commune was changed into a township, which was called Deting township. In January 2009, the township was removed to build a town;

Deting town is composed of "Three Rivers" (zuoyuchuan, detingchuan, wusongchuan), "two mountains" (detingling, zuoyuling), "three ditches" (dawanggou, xiaowanggou, laodaogou). The terrain is long and narrow, high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Yihe River flows into the temple of fire in Dongwan village, Dazhang Town, and leaves through laodaogou, hotel, Yangwan and yuanwan. There are Deting River, Zuoyu River confluence in Yangcun, to the gorge into Yi River. The highest altitude is 1859.6m (Yingzuishan, foquansi Village), the average altitude is 620m, the annual precipitation is 764.3mm, the maximum daily precipitation is 369mm, the maximum precipitation intensity is 101mm / h, the average temperature is 14.8 ℃ (the highest is 40 ℃, the lowest is - 9.2 ℃), the annual frost free period is 208 days, the annual accumulated temperature is 4100 ℃, and the annual sunshine time is 3225 hours.

Deting town is rich in forestry resources, with a total forestland area of about 340000 mu, including 266000 mu of natural forest. It is a big forestry town in Song County. The town area is rich in mineral resources, mainly distributed in molybdenum, gold, iron, fluorite, potassium feldspar and other resources.

famous scenery

Tianchishan National Forest Park is located in Xionger mountain area, northwest of Song County, Luoyang City, with a total area of 1716 hectares and a forest coverage rate of more than 98.57%. The main peak, wangmangzhai, is 1859.6 meters above sea level. It is named tianchishan because there are three natural Tianchi at the top of the peak: upper, middle and lower. It is a national AAAA scenic spot with five major scenic spots: feilaishi, Tianchi, yunu stream, Hanwang tomb and erlanggou.
