Koudian town

Koudian town is located in the southeast of Yibin District of Luoyang. It has 21 administrative villages with a total area of 64 square kilometers and a total population of 41000 (in 2019). It is 10km away from Er Guang Expressway in the West and 8km away from Zheng shaoluo Expressway in the south. The traffic network of "three vertical and three horizontal" is formed by digging Ding Road, Shagou Road, Liufeng Road, hope road, Longshao road and Qubin road. Historical evolution

In 1949, it was the Ninth District of Luoyang County, and in December 1955, it was included in Yanshi county. In 1958, the area is bounded by Shahe River to the East, which belongs to Dakou commune and Lichun commune to the West. In 1961, Koudian was set up under the jurisdiction of six small communes: Koudian, Zhuyao, fenggou, Changcun, YAOGOU and Pangcun. In 1962, the district was withdrawn and the Koudian commune was built, which was named after the government's residence in Koudian village. In November 1983, the Yi commune became a township, and in May 1995, the township was removed to build a town. In October 2010, it was officially incorporated into Luoyang Yibin District Management Committee.
