Koudong town

Koudong town is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Baodi District, Tianjin, China. Located in the middle of the District, 7.5km away from Baodi city. It has jurisdiction over 31 administrative villages.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1950, it belonged to the eighth district. In 1953, it was established in koudongxiang. In 1958, it belonged to wangbuzhuang commune. In 1961, it was established in koudong commune. In 1983, it was changed to koudongxiang. In 1996, it covers an area of 31 square kilometers and has a population of 15000. It has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, including koudong, xiaozhanggezhuang, Liangjia Hutong, dongqigezhuang, xiqigezhuang, dazhanggezhuang, nanwangjiazhuang, dajianzhuang, dongligezhuang, xiligezhuang, shangwangezhuang, qianqigezhuang, huangxinzhuang, anlezhuang, zhangniutun, Hugezhuang, Dongxinzhuang, Xixinzhuang and shigezhuang. in 2001, heilangkou township was abolished and Dongzhen town was imported. The town government is located in koudong village. in 2013, koudong town was abolished and koudong street was established. the former village named after its residence. Heilangkou village was built in Ming Dynasty. At that time, the streets of the village were like dragon bodies, the hutongs were like dragon claws, and the west entrance of the street was inclined to the entrance of heilonggou, so it was named heilongkou. Later, Liutai built a village and built a small temple in the middle of the street, which was called Longhu temple. The villagers of heilongkou thought that this temple was not good for their village, that is, they changed the name of the village to heilangkou in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, which is still in use today. In 1946, it belonged to the Fourth District of Baodi County. In 1958, it belonged to zhongdeng township. In the same year, it was transformed into heilangkou commune and heilangkou Township in 1983. In 1988, eight villages in Hexi, Gaotai, Litai, Dutai, dawudeng, houwudeng, dongwudeng, HEBEIZHUANG and caiyazhuang, were included in zhongdeng township. In 1996, the township was divided into koudong and wangbuzhuang townships in the north, houdian Township in the East, zhouliangzhuang Township in the south, Haogezhuang Township in the west, and zhongdeng Township across the chaobaixinhe River in the southwest. The township covers an area of 42.8 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It is under the jurisdiction of 12 administrative villages, including Guzhuang, fuwangzhuang, Xizhuang, Dongzhuang, bataigang, zousihou, heilangkou, Liutai, Xinzhai, Xihekou, Laozhuangzi and luwenzhuang. In 2018, Baodi District abolished koudong street and established koudong town (jmh [2018] No. 79).
