Xibuhe Township

Xibuhe township is located in the south of Ninglang Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, with an altitude of 2180 meters. It is adjacent to Songping Township and Jinguan town of Yongsheng County in the south. The total area of the township is 495.54 square kilometers. It governs seven village committees and 109 natural villages. Most of the residents are Yi nationality, with a few Lisu, Han and Mosuo people living. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, in 1950, except Biyuan village committee, they all belonged to Liangshan Yi affairs office. In 1956, Yangping district was in the South and Paomaping District in the northeast. In 1958, two communes, muerping and xibuhe, were established in the countryside. Xibuhe district was established in 1962. Since 1987, xibuhe township has been established. Xibuhe township is a mountainous area with many mountains, deep valleys and different climate. Wheat, potato, buckwheat and oats are the main crops in mountainous areas, and a small amount of rice is produced in Shengu Biyuan area.

Resources and environment

Xibu River, which originates from lvyintang, flows northward and southward. It is 3 km long and 11 m wide on average. It passes through Jihuo village, apingwozi and Dagou. It is in the west of buyouxi and Zuona Xiaogou river. In the north section of the upstream passenger station, it meets with the two rivers from shuangfuxi and Laowuji at shigela and flows southward to meet with Xiaochang river. It also flows to Donggualin river at Zuona, and then to Malutang via shangliu passenger station and Xialiu passenger station Zuona Big Volcano River, right nachangwan River, through Taiping mountain, xibuhe township government station, Zuona qingcaowan River, through Xianong farm, Zuona originates from majiawuji in the southwest of guangma mountain, through the middle river of Donghong, sanjiacun and masanping, and converges with ganbuhe River in Yuan Solow. Biyuan River: it flows from northeast to southwest with many tributaries, mainly composed of Zhan River, Qingshui River, Damaidi River, Xibu River and Shali river. The main channel is 45 km long, with a catchment area of 1235.73 square kilometers. Damaidi River from guangma mountain and Zhan River from hanjiachang flow through pumpkin flat after meeting at aken village, and Qingshui River from talbolen after meeting at LAOYINGYAN It flows through Ganbu River, converges with Xibu River in the upper part of Yuan Solow, flows through yuan Solow, basanla and Biyuan, and then flows into Hailuo River in Hejia village, flows into Wulang River in Yongsheng via baicaoping, and flows into Jinsha River along Liyong highway in the West.
