Micun town

Micun town of Xinmi City is located in Xinmi City, Henan Province. It is connected with Yuanzhuang Township and Xidajie Street office in the East, Xingyang city in the northeast, Niudian town in the South and West, and Jianshan Scenic Area Management Committee in the north. The area is 60 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

Jianmi village commune was established in 1958, township was changed in 1984, and town was established in 1996. In 1997, with an area of 68 square kilometers and a population of 39000, it has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages, namely Micun, Songcun, Xiawang, Mengzhuang, Fangshan, Mazhai, Yuwan, Qiancun, Houcun, Mazhuang, Shenyao, Fancun, yuezhai, Jiazhai, zhujiaan, guaiyu, manjingyu, baihuai, shishuwan, Yanggang, chaan, yangzhaigou, jinjinggou and Wenzhuang. In 2005, Jianshan township was abolished and merged into Micun town (in fact, Jianshan Scenic Area Management Committee was set up in the original area of Jianshan township).

Traffic situation

Micun town is 30 km away from the urban area of Zhengzhou. Xinmi west entrance and exit are set in Micun by Zhengzhou Shaolin Temple expressway. National highway g233 passes through Micun. The planned Jiaozuo Pingdingshan tourism special line has entrance and exit in Micun.

Economics

Coal, limestone and other mineral resources are abundant. The industrial economy of Micun town has formed three major industries with refractory, coal and building materials as pillars. There are 6 forestry ecological villages in Zhengzhou, 3 characteristic villages in Zhengzhou, close to Fuxi mountain scenic spot, Hongshilin scenic spot, Sanquan Lake scenic spot, Xinmi slow city scenic resort, beautiful village zhujiaan and other scenic spots, integrating 10000 mu of flower fields, catering and lodging, farming experience and children's paradise. There are flowers in spring, cool in summer, picking in autumn and farming interest in winter. In terms of industry, the municipal government cooperates with Huaxia Xingfu to build Xinmi industrial new town in Micun. Supported by the industrial new town, it vigorously develops high-tech industrial clusters such as fire-fighting equipment and biotechnology. In terms of culture and tourism, led by the 15 billion yuan Hong Kong Lujin Xihe culture and tourism project, it has signed cultural and tourism projects such as Jinna Yunshui Yao, Changlong huaqiandu, Tianyuan dream sharing farm, Pusu folk house and Zhengzhou Yellow River nursing college.

Culture

In the spring and Autumn period, Micun belonged to the state of Zheng. In 562 B.C., the Jin Dynasty led the feudal lords to attack the state of Zheng, and met Xiaoyu (now the intersection of southeast Jianshan scenic spot and yuezhai Village), which was called "Xiaoyu alliance" in history. Micun was the battlefield. During the Warring States period, Micun belonged to the state of Wei. In order to resist the expansion of the state of Qin, Wei built the Great Wall in the territory, and there are still ruins. At present, there are many historical and cultural sites in Micun Town, such as the great wall of Wei Dynasty and Zhenyuan fort of Qing Dynasty. Xinmi jade mine is only 2 kilometers away from Micun. There are well-known Miyu art companies such as yumeijie and a relatively concentrated Miyu art trading market.
