Bagang town

Bagang township is located in the southwest of Zhongmou County, 21 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Yao's hometown in the East, Xiezhuang town in the west, Zhengan town in the north, and Sanguanmiao, Zhangzhuang town and Huangdian town in the south. Liangzhang highway and Wansan highway cross the border, and Zhangbagou river runs through the whole territory from west to East.

The geographical coordinates are 34 degrees north latitude, 114.4 degrees east diameter and 108 meters above sea level. In the south of the township is the sand hill belt of Jinling temple, in the north is the sand hill belt of caizhuangpo, and in the middle is flat, belonging to the green sandy soil. It is high in the southwest and low in the northeast.

Bagang commune was established in 1958 and changed to township in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 48.6 square kilometers and has a population of 27000. It governs 17 administrative villages, namely, pubeisun, Qianzhang, Miaohou, Zhangtang, caizhuangpo, qianlv, Liangzhuang, hutuozhang, Bagang, Fengzhuang, Changdian, Yijia, diaoluu, DanJia, xiangfuliu, Shutou village and hetouchen. On April 29, 2010, the township was set up.
