Sunwu Street

Sunwu street belongs to Huimin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. It is the hometown of Sun Wu, an ancient Chinese military strategist, and the political, economic and cultural center of Huimin County. The street is located in the Lubei plain at the end of the Yellow River, bordering Jinan in the west, Bohai in the north and the Yellow River in the south.

Sunwu street was withdrawn from the town in 2010. In 2010, the population was 91984 (2010). As of 2016, Sunwu street has a total area of 107.3 square kilometers, 8 communities, 132 administrative villages (streets), 76000 mu of arable land and 92000 people (excluding 35000 floating population).

It belongs to Yanci County in Qin Dynasty, Fuping County in Western Han Dynasty, fuyanci County in Eastern Han Dynasty and Le'an County in di Prefecture in Tang Dynasty. Before and after the founding of the people's Republic of China, he was the resident of Bohai administrative office and Huimin regional Commissioner Office. In March 1955, it was called Chengguan town. In November 1958, it was called Huicheng commune. In 1982, it was called Chengguan town. In 1984, it was called Huimin town. In February 2006, the people's Government of Shandong Province officially approved Huimin town to be renamed Sunwu town. in May 2010, Sunwu town was abolished and Sunwu street was established.
