Shahe Town

Shahe City, historically known as Shahe county. Xingtai Iron and steel smelting center is now managed by Xingtai development zone. The town covers an area of 29.85 square kilometers, with 15800 mu of arable land and 19680 permanent residents (2017). In 2010, the total industrial and agricultural output value reached 120 million yuan, including 50 million yuan of agricultural output value and 2918 yuan of per capita income of farmers. Evolution of organizational system

Shahe county was built in Sui Dynasty. In 596 ad, Shahe county was set up in the south of Longgang county. It was named after Dasha River. The old city is one kilometer east of Shahe Town, belonging to Xingzhou. In the first year of Kaiyun in the later Jin Dynasty (944 AD), Shahe Town (the former Shahe county) was moved to govern, still belonging to Xingzhou. In 1262, Xingzhou was promoted to Shunde Prefecture, and Shahe county was one of the nine counties in Shunde Prefecture. Hebei Province was established on August 1, 1949, and Shahe county was assigned to Xingtai District of Hebei Province. In 1968, the people's Government of Shahe County moved from Chengguan Shahe Town to Danlian town.

Shahe commune was established in 1958, changed to district in 1951, changed to Chengguan Township in 1956, changed to commune in 1961, changed to urban and rural areas in Shahe in 1983, and changed to town in 1990. In March 2009, eight administrative villages in Shahe Town were entrusted to Qiaoxi District of Xingtai City.

Agriculture

The terrain of Shahe Town is flat, and the agricultural planting and breeding industry are developed, forming a new agricultural planting pattern with wheat and corn as the main, peanut, cotton and other economic crops as the auxiliary. There are corn and other agricultural products purchasing markets along Jingguang road.

The annual sown area of grain crops was 30000 mu, and the grain output reached 14650 tons. The policy of supporting and benefiting agriculture, such as direct grain subsidy, has been implemented. The town's grain subsidy is about 320000 yuan, the comprehensive direct subsidy is about 790000 yuan, and the wheat disease prevention subsidy is about 60000 yuan.

Industry

At present, there are 14 industrial enterprises in our town, and there is a paper industrial park in dongzhaozhuang, which is the largest concentration of paper enterprises in Shahe City. It is located in the southeast of Shahe Town, close to 107 national highway, with a total area of 3.911 square kilometers. The planning area is 3.25 km east of national highway 107 and 1.09 km north of the North Bank of Dasha River.

Dongzhaozhuang Industrial Park was built in 1986, with an investment of more than 100 million yuan and a total area of more than 1000 mu. There are 11 enterprises in the park, including 10 paper enterprises (with an annual output of more than 40000 tons of paper), 1 new building materials factory (with an annual output of 20 million bricks), and 4 projects under construction. The park takes paper industry as the main industry, and its main products include white board, coated paper, stainless steel, etc. (due to the elimination of backward production capacity, several existing paper-making workshops have been transformed into stainless steel workshops), and paper machinery accessories. There are two large-scale sewage treatment plants in the park, which can treat more than 10000 tons of sewage per day. In order to implement the national energy conservation and emission reduction, the existing papermaking workshop has basically reached zero emission. The main raw materials of the products are waste cartons and waste newspapers. The products are recognized by the national market, and the production and sales are booming. The annual output value of dongzhaozhuang Industrial Park is 73 million yuan, the development momentum of the park is strong, and the development scale is growing.

Shahe Town has a long history, beautiful scenery and many cultural relics. There are Qianlong's jingmeihua Fu of Tang and Song Dynasties, the three unique steles of Tang and Song Dynasties, the national intangible cultural heritage "tengpai array" and the provincial intangible cultural heritage "Doumian printing".
