History of construction
Quanpu town belongs to Nanwang county.
In August 1953, the quanpu district was established, and later the quanpu township.
In 2000, quanpu township was abolished and quanpu town was established. Xinlou township was abolished and merged into Xuji town. Fangmiao township was abolished and merged into quanpu town.
In July 2008, Xuji town was merged into quanpu town.
