Gudao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hekou District, Dongying City, Shandong Province, is an important mining town of Shengli Oilfield. It is located in the southeast of Hekou District, bordering Bohai Sea in the East, Huanghekou town of Kenli County in the south, Chenzhuang town and tingluo town of Lijin County in the Southwest, Diaokou River in the West and Xianhe town in the north The total area is 163.36 square kilometers.

In July 1972, Shengli Oilfield set up an isolated island headquarters, and in October 1983, it was assigned to Hekou area. In June 1992, the office of Gudao was abolished and Gudao town was established. By the end of 2018, the population of Gudao town registered residence was 36264. As of June 2020, Gudao town has 7 communities and 2 administrative villages.
