Sangtian town

Sangtian Town, subordinate to Nanfeng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of the middle part of Nanfeng County, 12 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Taiyuan Township in the East, Taihe Town in the south, Baishe town in the West and Laixi Township in the north. With a total area of 102.38 square kilometers, the town governs 11 administrative villages, 80 village groups and 84 natural villages. History of construction

In 1958, Sangtian commune was established; in 1966, Sangtian commune was incorporated into Gucheng commune; in 1979, Gucheng commune moved to Sangtian; in 1983, Gucheng commune changed its name to Sangtian commune; in March 1984, Sangtian commune was changed into Sangtian township; in July 2001, Sangtian township was abolished and Sangtian town was established.

Sangtian town is slightly inclined from northwest to Southeast, flat in the middle and North, rich in soil and sufficient in water. The highest point is Fengxiang peak, 340.8 meters above sea level. The lowest point is Xiaofang village, 117 meters above sea level.

climate

Sangtian town has a subtropical monsoon climate with a warm climate. The annual average temperature is about 18 ℃. It has four distinct seasons, sufficient light and 270 frost free days. It has abundant rainfall. The rainy season is mainly concentrated in spring and summer, with an average annual precipitation of about 1170 mm.

hydrology

The river in Sangtian town belongs to Xujiang River Basin in the upper reaches of Fuhe River, with a total length of 23 km. Canglang River, migang River and Jiuju River, the first tributaries of Xujiang River, flow from southeast to northwest through Gucheng village and Xiaofang village in the northwest, Xiyuan village and Sangtian village in the middle, Shuikou village and Zhangkeng village in the southwest.
