Shenzhengqiao township is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province. It is a township under the jurisdiction of Xingan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the middle of Xingan County, 10 kilometers away from the county. It is connected with Lijiang town and Taoxi Township in the north, Qiqin town in the East, Mailiao town in the South and Jinchuan town in the West.

The territory is 9.34 km long from north to South and 9.175 km wide from east to west, with a total area of 76.74 square kilometers. The township governs 6 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 76 villager groups, with a permanent resident population of 9897 (2017). It is mainly agricultural population, with 26322 mu of cultivated land and 61131 mu of mountainous land.

There are abundant forest resources of Phyllostachys pubescens, including 48497 mu of useful timber forest, 2388 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens forest and 9572 mu of economic forest. There are 11 small (second) type reservoirs, 58 ponds and dams in the township, with water surface area of 2854 Mu and effective irrigation area of 23000 mu, accounting for 85.8% of the cultivated land in the township. Meixiang river flows through the southwest of the rural area, and a small hydropower station is built at the head of the lake.

Resources and environment

There are more than 11 small reservoirs, 58 ponds and dams in the township, with a water surface area of 2854 mu, distributed in all villages of the township. The effective irrigation area is 23000 mu, accounting for 85.8% of the cultivated land in the township. Meixiang river flows through the southwest of the rural area, and a small power station is built at Qiaotou section.

Major industries

Shenzhengqiao township is mainly engaged in grain production, which has been known as the granary of Ganzhong in the past dynasties. Since the founding of new China, it has been awarded the advanced collective of agriculture by the State Council, provincial and county governments for many times. In November 1990, it was awarded the honorary title of "100 stars of villages and towns in China" by the state civil affairs department. There are nearly 9000 Mu orchards (mainly citrus and Ponkan) and 4000 mu medicinal materials in the township. Xitang reservoir has been developed in a three-dimensional way, and livestock and poultry aquaculture is flourishing every year. The township has basically formed four agricultural pillar industries: live pig, water surface three-dimensional development, fruit industry and medicinal materials. Pine, fir, bamboo and other economic trees become an important part of agricultural economy.

Xin (GAN) 17 (Qin) Shi (Kou) asphalt road passes through the rural area from west to Southeast. Along the road, there are two ring roads leading to Zhuangshang administrative village and from Qiaotou to Songxi, Hutian, zhangshuxia, Yuqiao, and then to Qiaotou. The ring road has been included in the rural road hardening construction project. The construction of the section from Qiaotou to Songxi leading to Qiqin and the upper part of the city has started, and a complete road has formed between the villages Shanshan's transportation network and postal communication are convenient. More than 80% of the households have installed program-controlled telephone, and the coverage rate of mobile phone communication accounts for more than 90% of the total area of the township. The township economy and social undertakings have maintained a good momentum of sustained, stable and healthy development. In 2012, the township focused on project construction and project funding, and deeply carried out the activities of "year of industrial upgrading" and "year of breakthrough in industrial investment promotion". The township's industrial economy, open economy and project funding maintained a good momentum. The total investment in fixed assets of the whole society was 551.8 million yuan; the total output value of industries above designated size was 825.4 million yuan, and the industrial added value was 31.25 million yuan; 1468 people were employed; 5.2 million yuan of Tax Assistance and tax protection tasks were completed, and the tasks assigned by the county Party committee and the county government were over fulfilled; the per capita net income reached 6100 yuan, an increase of 600 yuan over the previous year. Around the theme of increasing agricultural efficiency and farmers' income, our Township developed 13500 mu of high-quality rice in 2012, and the total grain output reached 24426 tons in 2012. We will develop more than 1000 mu of vegetables, 66700 pigs, more than 500 mu of high-yield Camellia oleifera, 600 mu of Jinggang honey pomelo, 500 mu of new flowers and seedlings, and two "one village, one product" demonstration villages. At the same time, the development of agricultural leading enterprises and professional cooperation organizations has been supported. One county-level leading enterprise, namely Dongyi sandwich board factory, and one provincial-level leading enterprise, namely new green company, will be developed. In fact, it has established three farmers' professional cooperatives, namely, Shenlong mushroom industry, Qiaotou citrus and agricultural machinery pest control, with more than 530 members, which has led 320 farmers to participate in industrial operation and promoted the increase of farmers' income.
