Dunhou town

Dunhou town is a town under the jurisdiction of Ji'an County, Jiangxi Province. Located in the lower reaches of Heshui River, it is Chengguan town of Ji'an County. It is bounded by Yonghe town in the East, Fenghuang town in the south, Hengjiang town and Meitang Township in the west, and Jizhou district across Heshui River in the north. In December 2001, it was merged from the former Dunhou town and Gaotang township. It has jurisdiction over 20 village committees, 127 natural villages and 109515 permanent residents (in 2017). The total area of the town is 89 square kilometers. Now it has 24862 mu of cultivated land, 30600 mu of woodland and 33667 mu of mountainous area.
