Shefu Township

Shefu township is located in the south of Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The area is 160.55 square kilometers, registered residence 47 thousand and 600 people (2018), under 15 administrative villages (2019).

Shefu township has three markets: shefu, Wulong and Jiushan. Three highways lead directly to Xingguo County.

In 2018, there were 49 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Shefu township.

Historical evolution

In 1931, the Soviet area belonged to Xiyuan, Jiushan, Huanglong and other townships in shefu District of Xingguo County, and Cangqian District of Yudu county.

Before liberation, it belonged to shefu Township in Nantang district (later changed to Longkou District) of Ganxian county (Gumao and Xixi in Sanxi township of Ganxian county also belonged to Shefu township).

At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to Liulong, Jiushan and other townships in Longkou District of Ganxian county (later changed to shefu District).

In December 1954, 15 townships in Shefu district were transferred from Gan county to Xingguo County, which is the 14th District of Xingguo County.

In 1957, it was divided into shefu District, Guijiang district and LIULONG township.

In 1958, shefu commune was established.

In 1961, it was divided into shefu, Guijiang and Liulong communes.

In 1965, it was merged into shefu and Liulong communes.

In 1973, the Shuanglong brigade of Liulong commune was assigned to shefu commune.

In 1984, it was changed to shefu Township and Liulong Township respectively.

In May 2001, LIULONG township was merged with shefu Township, and the number of administrative villages under the jurisdiction of shefu Township increased from 13 to 20.

In July 2003, yuanlihu village was merged into Luxi village, yuanliyuan village into shefu village, and Yangmei, Taoshu and Sanxing villages into Jiushan village, with 15 villages under its jurisdiction.

In 2019, shefu Township governs 15 administrative villages (Wulong Village, Huanggang village, Guijiang village, Houcun village, shefu village, Zhibang village, Luxi village, Hengxi village, Shuanglong Village, Dongshao village, Xiyuan village, Jinlong Village, Liulong village, Jiushan village and liaoxia Village), and 330 villager groups. The township government is stationed in shefu village.

Shefu township is located in the south of Xingguo County, adjacent to Xianxia township of Duxian County in the East, Lingbei town and Gongjiang town of Duxian County in the south, Sanxi township of Ganxian district and Longkou town of Xingguo County in the west, Butou Township and Jiecun township of Xingguo County in the north, with an administrative area of 160.55 square kilometers.

topographic features

The terrain of shefu Township inclines from northeast, southeast to northwest, with low mountains and hills in the whole territory, and medium and low mountains in some parts. The lowest elevation is 139.7 meters in Zhibang village, and the highest is 988.8 meters in hulusheng village. In the East and south, there are many mountains and mountains. From shizidong and hulusheng in the northeast corner and Jiecun border, from the east to the south along the border of Dujie to daoshiaodong, forming a natural barrier. The whole terrain can be divided into three parts: the eastern mountain area is mainly composed of middle and low mountains, belonging to the lower Paleozoic Sinian system. The mountain range is mountain shaped, north-south structure, with an altitude of 400-800 meters. Hulusheng, Taiqing mountain and shizidong stand out in the northeast, while Shangshan and wuxiandong stand in the northwest and Southeast high hills. Except that Jinlong river flows into Dongshao River from east to west, Jiushan River, liaoxia River and LIULONG river flow into dumei River from north to south. In the west of jiushanhe River, east of liulonghe River and jinlongxi River Basin, there are a lot of mountain metamorphic rocks. There are many V-shaped valleys. The east of jiushanhe River and the west of liulonghe River are composed of granite with poor vegetation.

The southern mountainous area of shefu Township belongs to Cathaysian structure, with an altitude of 300-600 meters. Wuyun mountain, qiaobiandan, jinaodong, wuduosheng, daoshiao and Shidong are separated on both sides of the boundary mountain between Jiangxi and Jiangxi. Against the background of low mountains, they form a landform with neat peaks and undulating hills. Shuanglong river flows into shefu River from east to west, while Wulong River and Guijiang river flows into Sanxi River and shefu River from south to north. The mountain area in this belt is mainly composed of granite and eroded greatly. Small basins are formed in the U-shaped valley.

The central and northwest hilly areas of shefu Township belong to the geological structure of Huaxia system compression torsion thrust fault. The shefu large fault runs across it, with an altitude of 150-300 meters. The terrain is gentle, and the mountains are mostly distributed in an arc, mainly composed of granite and red glutenite. After the confluence of shefu River and Dongshao River, it flows westward into Pingjiang river. There are many bare mountains in the alluvial land between the two rivers and at the outlet. The weathering crust is thick in the northern mountain area.

Transportation

The 15 administrative villages in Shefu township have realized the connection of cement roads, with a total mileage of 68 kilometers, hardened two cross County highways from Wulong to dugongjiang and from Houcun to Sanxi in Ganxian County, with a mileage of 22 kilometers, and built 7.5 kilometers of exit highways from Liulong to dulingbei and Jiushan to duxianxia, realizing the full coverage of the highway network of all natural villages in the township, and opened shefu to the county, Ganzhou and Guangdong（ Dongguan, Xintang, Huizhou, Humen, etc.

History and culture

Shebu market was built in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. According to the annals of Gan County written by Tongzhi of Qing Dynasty, "the county (Ganzhou) has twenty-one cities and twenty fairs." Among them, Shebu market is the third. According to folklore, in the past, the rich merchants with the surnames of clock, Chen, Lai, Wu, Yi, Bai, Luo, LAN, Lu and Han jointly agreed to develop the new fair at the present site, which was named "Shifang" market. When the market was opened, gongs, drums and firecrackers were loud. A goshawk just flew over with a snake in its mouth. It was frightened and the snake fell off. It just landed on the drum. Everyone thought it was a blessing from heaven. The market was named "snake drum Market" and homonymous with "Shebu market". Later generations renamed it "shefuwei".

The society is rich in founding General Chen Meifu, Peking University Tycoon Chen panzao, founding hero Ding Zhenyu, Dadu River warrior Ding Shengyang, Weiyang Zhongyuan Ding Shengyang, active general Cai Shimin, and civilian director Xie Xiuqi.

Chen panzao (1897-1990), Ziping, born in Chenwu, Huanggang village, was a major general of the Kuomintang. He graduated from Peking University and studied in France and Germany for a master of science. He once served as the political director of the Northern Expedition army and the senior class instructor of Nanjing Central Military Academy. After arriving in Taiwan in the spring of 1946, he served as the professor and acting president of National Taiwan Normal University. His works include medicinal biology, summary of hot spring in China, literary criticism, outline of Sinology, etc.

Cai Bi (1903 -?) He was born in shefu village. Graduated from Huangpu Military Academy, major general of KMT, second military officer of KMT
