Sanbaishan Town, belonging to Anyuan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeast of Anyuan County, 25 kilometers away from the county, with an area of 127.76km2 and a population of 18800. It has jurisdiction over Baishan neighborhood committee, 8 administrative villages including Huangbei, Huangbai, Wushi, Tangwu, Meiwu, hugang, zuixia and Fushan, and the town government is stationed in xinyuanwei. The mountains in the Northeast overlap, and Xintian River enters from east to southwest. There is a highway from northwest to zhengangwei, connecting with Laoan highway.

Hugang hot spring group in Sanshan town is the only hot spring with the same source of water and fire in China. The surface water temperature of the hot spring reaches 76 ℃, which is the second largest natural hot spring group in Jiangxi Province. There is also xianrenfeng fruit industry base of ten thousand mu, which is called "the first garden of navel orange in China" by experts from the Ministry of agriculture of the people's Republic of China.

Historical evolution

It got its name from the three hundred mountain scenic area under its jurisdiction. It belonged to Xintian township of Taiping District before liberation, Xintian Township and Dazhong township of Zhengang district at the beginning of liberation, Xintian Township and hugang township of Zhengang District in 1956, Chaomei (Zhengang) commune in 1958, Xintian commune was established in 1961, Xinyuan commune was renamed in 1982, and township was changed in 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 126 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It governs 11 administrative villages including Huangbei, Fushan, Shanghe, Huangbai, zuixia, Meiwu, Xinming, hugang, Wushi, Tangwu and tangxin. The township government is stationed in xinyuanwei. In 2001, it was renamed as three hundred mountain town.

Baishan town is a big navel orange production town in Anyuan County. In 2009, there were 28000 mu of navel oranges in Sanshan Town, with an annual output of 16000 tons. Now more than 80% of the fruits have been ordered. The average price of navel oranges is 3.5 yuan per kilogram, which makes navel oranges really become a "cash cow" for farmers to get rich.
