Historical evolution

Xianghu town in the Qing Dynasty belongs to Shouan rural Yihe, shangchangyuan, xiachangyuan, Changshang, Antan and Nancun. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Shouan Township in the first district and Nan'an Township in the second district. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Nanan Township, the first district. Yuejin people's commune was established in 1958. In 1959, it was renamed Nan'an commune.
