Nanyangpu town
Nanyangbao town is a town under the jurisdiction of Guangping County, Handan City, Hebei Province. In November 2013, nanyangbao township of Guangping county was approved by Hebei Province and Handan city. At the same time, nanyangpu town was identified as the first batch of small town construction pilot towns.
Nanyangpu town of Guangping county is located 7.5km northeast of the county, with 18 administrative villages, 27088 permanent residents (in 2017), and 35000 mu of arable land. In recent years, the economy and society have achieved rapid development, and the conditions for establishing a national town have been met. After the establishment of the town, the goal will be to build a leading, unique, livable, business and tourist town in northern China. The construction covers two villages, former Nanyang fort and later Nanyang fort. It is planned to build a characteristic small town with an area of 500 mu in three phases in two to five years.
