Langu Township
Langu township is located in the north of Wuyishan City, bordering Pucheng County in the East, wufushan in Jiangxi Province in the north and northwest, and Wutun Township in the South and southwest. The altitude is 360-990m. It has a trend of low in the South and high in the north. It is a mountain village with "nine mountains, half water and half farmland". The main peak is tongba mountain, with an altitude of 1534.6 meters.
In 2017, the administrative area was 28570 hectares, with a permanent population of 16356.

The main rivers are Qianxi and Houxi. Qianxi, 35 km long, originates from lingyangguan; Houxi, 40 km long, originates from tongbangshan. The two streams converge at kekou and flow into Dongxi, which is the main water source of Dongxi reservoir.
Historical evolution
Langu Township in song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties known as shijiuli, meixinfeng township (commonly known as BEIXIANG). During the period of the Republic of China, it was called langu Township, which belonged to the Ninth District, the fourth district and the second district.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it is the Sixth District. In 1954, it was incorporated into Wutun, the Fifth District. In 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, which was divided into langu and Likou townships. In the same year, the commune was incorporated into the scope of happy people's commune (the commune was stationed in Wutun). In 1961, Xingfu commune set up five brigades and 13 brigades in eight villages (brigades) under the jurisdiction of langu township. It was changed to langu Township in 1984.

In 2004, the total grain planting area of the township was 30600 mu, with a total output of 12456 tons; the cultivation of bamboo mountain was 80000 mu, with the establishment of a demonstration base of high-yield Phyllostachys pubescens forest of 3000 mu, with the demonstration planting of clustered bamboo of 120 mu; the planting of Flue-cured Tobacco was 480 mu, with a total output of more than 70000 kg, with an output value of 865000 yuan; the planting of mushrooms was 430000 square feet, with an output value of 576000 yuan.

According to the development strategic goal of "highlighting industry and breaking through industry" of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, 7 project reserves were completed in 2004, 6 new projects with a total investment of 14 million yuan were completed, and 4 new enterprises were introduced, with an actual investment of 7.05 million yuan. The development of bamboo and wood processing, bamboo shoot products processing and tea processing projects is progressing smoothly.

In 2004, we completed the hardening project of grade 4 cement road from Hengdun to Lingyang with a total investment of 2.4 million yuan; completed the construction of drinking water projects in Guyan, Fengxi and Zhangcun with a total investment of 290000 yuan; and invested 2.25 million yuan to repair and reinforce two reservoirs, three main canals and dams.
