Yangyuan Township

Yangyuan township is located in the southeast of Zhenghe County, Fujian Province, adjacent to Zhenqian town in the north, Zhouning County in the East, Pingnan County in the south, Jian'ou city in the southwest and Xingxi Township in the northwest.

Yangyuan township is located in the southeast of Zhenghe County. In 1988, it had jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages and 101 villager groups. In 1986, Yangyuan township was designated as one of the five poor townships in Zhenghe County.

Climate and environment

Yangyuan township is located in the southeast slope of the line between Donggong mountain and Fengshan depression. The terrain is slightly inclined to the southeast, with an average altitude of more than 800 meters.

The mountains are continuous, the rock types are complex, and the streams are tortuous. Cuixi, the largest river in the territory, originates from fengshanao and niuloushan in the northwest, flows through the whole territory to the southeast and flows into huotongxi. The climate is cold in winter and cool in summer. The maximum temperature is 34.7 ℃, the minimum temperature is - 12.2 ℃, and the annual average temperature is 14.7 ℃. The temperature difference between day and night is large, which has the typical climate characteristics of "the South and the north". It belongs to single cropping rice area. Affected by the summer monsoon, it has become the rainfall center of Zhenghe County, with an average annual precipitation of 1926.2 mm. Bantou, Donggong and Cuixi areas are often attacked by strong wind and hail at the turn of summer and autumn.

There are many places of interest in Yangyuan township.
