Xiaochengzi township is located in the southwest of zalaite banner, 12 kilometers away from the seat of the banner government. The territory of 111 national highway, Yintai highway, Yintu highway three main roads through, convenient transportation. There are 542 state-owned forest farms with a total area of 10 square kilometers. The cultivated area is 308000 Mu and the population is 16000.

Geography

The landform of Xiaochengzi Township belongs to the transition area from plain to shallow hills, which is a dry continental climate area in the middle temperate zone. Most of the east of Yintu road is plain area, with abundant underground water and flat land, covering an area of about 100000 mu. It is a comprehensive agricultural development project area of agricultural point. Now it has completed 48000 mu of agricultural development, water-saving irrigation demonstration area and science and technology demonstration area, with an area of 60000 Mu to be developed. To the west of Yintu Road, it is mainly hilly area. This area is a typical dry farming area with changeable terrain and lack of groundwater. It covers an area of nearly 200000 mu, annual accumulated temperature of 2600-2800 ℃, frost free period of 125-140 days and annual rainfall of 380-420 mm.

Agriculture

Agriculture is very important. The township has 1800 electromechanical wells, 400 sets of sprinkler irrigation equipment, 38000 mu of water-saving irrigation area and 10000 mu of high-tech demonstration park, all of which have been rated as excellent projects by the League administration. There are 30 kilometers of natural river system (erlongtao River) and 25 kilometers of artificial canal system in the territory. There are many gullies and ponds that can be used through regulation, and 33400 mu of medium and low yield farmland has been transformed. The total grain output was stable at 100 million jin. There are four bases in the township: the high-quality corn bases in Jinshan, Xinglong and Liuhe; the coarse grains and beans bases in Qingshan, Daling and Liuhe; the sugar beet bases along the erlongtao coast in Fengyuan and Sihe; and the suburban melon and vegetable bases in Dongfanghong, Dongsheng and Xusheng. After the adjustment, the ratio of grain to economy was 6:4. Jinshanta millet, Qingshan mung bean, peanut, Japanese scallion, Oriental red mushroom, etc. have formed characteristic brands. Qingshan mungbean also went to Beijing to participate in the exhibition and was favored. animal husbandry in farming areas mainly focusing on breeding has become a new pillar industry. After Mengniu settled in Xing'an, the dairy industry of the whole Township developed rapidly. There are 30 demonstration households, 3 demonstration households and 20 demonstration households with good benefit. The introduction of Harley rabbit, the only dog market set in the whole banner, has realized marketization. The standardized and well-developed breeding communities drive thousands of households to engage in breeding by means of radiation, demonstration and typical guidance. At present, the total number of livestock is 42000. the area of woodland in the township is 103000 mu, and more than 80000 mu of hilly area can be converted to forest. In addition, there are more than 100000 mu of cultivated land and 100000 mu of grassland resources available. Grain depot, strain factory, brick factory, sand factory and other enterprises are in good condition.

education

Education is booming. The total investment in education is nearly 10 million yuan. A teaching building of 1400 square meters has been completed, and all 10 primary schools have been renovated.
