ShuangDi overseas Chinese farm is a key overseas Chinese district and foreign unit in Longhai District of Zhangzhou city. It was established in February 1960 to accommodate returned overseas Chinese from Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Sarawak. The existing land area is 46200 mu, which has jurisdiction over 4 administrative districts and 19 natural villages, with a population of 3610 people, including 2556 returned overseas Chinese and their family members. There are 2039 cadres and employees, including 1142 retired cadres and employees. The average annual income of employees is 5720 yuan.
