Baqiao Street

Baqiao street, belonging to Baqiao District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the north of Baqiao District, East and North Bank of Bahe River. It is bordered by Hongqing street in the East, Xiwang street across the Bahe River in the south, Weiyang Economic Development Zone in the west, Xinzhu street in the north and Xiekou street in Lintong District in the northeast, with a total area of 43 square kilometers.

In the spring and Autumn period, Duke mu of Qin took the lead and changed Zishui into bashui and built bridges. In the Sui, Tang, Ming and Qing Dynasties, bridges were built here, and the streets were named after them. Baqiao street is one of the eight famous scenic spots in Baqiao street, namely "Baliu wind and snow" and Xi'an World Expo Garden. There are ruins of Bacheng county government in the period of Sixteen States.
