Wufeng town

Wufeng town is located in the northwest of Yongchun County, Fujian Province, at the south foot of Tianma mountain, ten kilometers away from the county seat, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. There are three mountains in the middle, which look like three turtles. The folk song "three turtles row away the causeway". Because the tortoise and the tortoise are of the same kind, and the tortoise and the tortoise are elegant, it is commonly known as "the head of the Tortoise". Later, it was renamed Aofeng. General situation of villages and towns

Aofeng is located in the transportation fortress of Dehua County in Yongchun. In ancient times, a post station was often set up at the end of the bridge, so it became a small market town.

The single arch stone bridge and the ancient banyan trees beside the piers are the symbols of bridgehead shop. When Zhu Xi, a neo Confucianist of Southern Song Dynasty, came to Quan to give lectures, he once lived here and wrote a poem "sudaqiao shop".

Historical evolution

Aofeng, from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, belonged to Minkang Township, the 21 and 22 capitals of Chang'an Li. It was called Aofeng society in the early Republic of China. In the early period of the Anti Japanese War, it merged with sukeng Township and was called Sanshan township. In the later period, it was renamed Chang'an township.

At the beginning of the founding of new China, the old system of Chang'an township was followed. Later, it was subordinate to the third, eighth and eleventh districts. It was transferred to Chengguan people's branch in 1958, Wufeng people's commune was established in 1961, Wufeng township was renamed in 1984, and Wufeng town was established in 1991.

Among them, the highway reconstruction project from Wufeng town to Gaolong village of Wulijie town is the key construction project of Yongchun County in 2013. It is planned to invest 56 million yuan to rebuild the road with a width of more than 8 meters to solve the problem of poor traffic. The project starts from the North intersection of Gaolong Village Primary School in Wuli street, goes along the old road to Banling, then turns to the new line to cross Xialing River, goes straight along the West Bank of Xialing River to guizizhai, crosses Xialing river again, extends the east bank, passes puweiyang and qianbanyang, and ends at Wuxi bridge to connect the old road. The project was completed in 2014.

In addition, Wufeng town also comprehensively reorganizes the Xialing river where the new road passes in combination with road reconstruction, and invests 2 million yuan to build the first wetland park in Shuangxikou of Shuiyuan village. Liu Xingtu, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering and expert of wetland ecology, went to the town to learn about the design concept and construction of the Wetland Park, and wrote an inscription for the park: build a wetland park, beautify and purify the environment.
