Liexi street is located on the West Bank of Shaxi River, Sanyuan District, Sanming City, Fujian Province, China. It governs 8 communities and 2 administrative villages. Xiaojiao community and Xiaojiao village are managed by Meilie economic development zone.

Historical evolution

It was built in 1980. In 1997, with an area of 14 square kilometers and a population of 32000, it has jurisdiction over 12 neighborhood committees, including May 4th, Fuhua, Longgang, Qingshan, Chuangxin, Ganghua, Qunying, Hongshan, Lvshui, Xiaojiao, Zhongtai and wengdun.

In 2003, it has jurisdiction over 8 communities with a population of 51800 and an area of 14 square kilometers. In 2005, liexi village in Xubi township was merged into liexi street.
