Miaocha town is located in the western part of Linquan County, Anhui Province, with convenient transportation. National Highway 106 and provincial highway 102 pass through the town, bordering Pingyu county and Xincai County of Henan Province. It is a trade fair for material exchange between Anhui and Henan provinces. With obvious location advantages, miaocha town is a famous leather trading town and the main hair distribution center in Northern Anhui Province. The town covers an area of 58.8 square kilometers, with 58771 mu of arable land. It has jurisdiction over 3 neighborhood committees and 10 village committees, 84 natural villages and 171 villager groups, with a total population of 70241.
