Youshi Township

Youshi Township, belonging to Shangyou County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north east of Shangyou County, adjacent to Shexi Town, Meishui town and Dongshan Town, 10 kilometers away from Shangyou County. The township covers an area of 87 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 235 village groups. In late 2018, the population of oil and stone Township had 24 thousand and 200 registered residence.

The agricultural industry of Youshi township is dominated by high-quality rice, vegetables, Camellia oleifera, tea, navel orange and pig breeding, while the industry is dominated by hydropower and factories. Historical evolution

In the tenth year of Baoda (952) of the Southern Tang Dynasty, the territory of Youshi belonged to Shangyou County.

During the second Civil Revolutionary War, it belonged to the second district; on the eve of liberation, except Dayuan, Xiaoyuan and yongkeng, they belonged to Heping and Guangtian townships, the rest belonged to Youshi townships.

In the early days of liberation, it was Youshi township; in 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune; in 1961, it was established as Youshi commune; in 1984, it was changed into Youshi township.

Urban construction

In the late 1990s, the construction of the polder town developed rapidly, and the area of the polder town doubled. A new polder farm with an area of 1.53 hectares and a new store house of 4600 square meters was built in xiangxinggang, which was basically integrated with the old polder farm. Youshiwei is one of the more prosperous fairs in Shangyou County. On the first, fourth and seventh day of the lunar calendar, some people come to the fairs in Dongshan Town, Shexi Town, Meishui Township and Longhua township of Nankang district.

Youshizhang

Youshizhang is located at the junction of Youshi Township and Meishui township. It belongs to Youshi Township in the northeast and Meishui Township in the southwest. The mountain is precipitous and looks like you squatting in the distance. It was called Dayou mountain and you Shizhang in ancient times, and later evolved into youshizhang, covering an area of about 8 square kilometers. The main peak is 939.9 meters above sea level. In the south of the mountain, there are more thatch, in the north of the mountain, there are more mixed forests, with pine, fir, bamboo, Camellia oleifera and so on.
