Tongfang town is located in the east of Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is adjacent to Liancheng County in the East, Nanshan Town in the south, Xinqiao Town in the West and Guanqian town in the north. There are two highways passing through the town. One is tinglian highway (from Changting to Liancheng), which runs through eight administrative villages from east to west, Liancheng National Highway 205 in the East and provincial highway Yangwan line in Xinqiao in the West. The other is Nanguan highway (from Nanshan to Guanqian), which runs through 13 villages from north to south It is one of the five major towns in Changting, with two administrative villages, the south of which is connected with national highway 319 and the north of which is connected with provincial highway Fushan.
