Located in the west of Qimen County, it borders Shanli town in the East, Fuliang County in Jiangxi Province in the West and south, and Shitai County in the East in the north. Xin'an township is located in the west of Qimen County, 117 ° 11 '- 117 ° 19' e, 29 ° 11 '- 30 ° 00' n. It is adjacent to Shanli town in the East, Fuliang County in Jiangxi Province in the West and south, and Shitai County in the East in the north. It is 12.1 kilometers long from east to west and 19.3 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 125.23 square kilometers, accounting for 5.64% of the total area of the county. The administrative area is 127.1 square kilometers, the mountain area is 174000 mu, the paddy field area is 3222 mu, the tea, mulberry, fruit, medicine and miscellaneous area is 7929.2 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 88%. There are 2115 permanent residents in the township, with a population of 7371 and labor force of 3653, including 825 migrant workers. In 2002, the total output value of agriculture was 14.8404 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 84 million yuan, the per capita income of farmers was 2194 yuan, and the proportion of primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 50:20:30. In 2003, it was successively awarded the agricultural industrialization demonstration township of Xin'an Township by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government; the Organization Department of the municipal Party committee awarded the advanced Party Organization for SARS prevention and control of Xinglin village Party branch of Xin'an township; the county Party committee awarded the advanced Party Committee for the construction of grass-roots organizations in Xin'an township; the county Party committee and the county government awarded the advanced unit for work safety in Xin'an township; and the county government awarded the advanced collective for returning farmland to forest in Xin'an township.

Villages under its jurisdiction

Under the jurisdiction of Lianghe, Xinglin, Shangwang, Gaotang, Xin'an, Heyuan, Long'an 7 administrative villages, 51 villager groups. In 2003, there were 2131 households and 7377 people in the township, all of whom were Han nationality. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to five districts. In 1939, it belonged to three districts, Xin'an Township, with Gaotang, Xinhe, Zhuji and Lianghe. Xin'an township was established in May 1949. In January 1950, the township was withdrawn and divided into five districts. In July 1952, it was divided into three townships: Gaotang, Xinhe and Lianghe. In the spring of 1956, Shanli district was abolished and Xinhe, Lianghe and Gaotang townships were designated as Xin'an Township, belonging to Likou district. In the same year, lianghecang and Zhulin in Panxi Township, Fuliang County, Jiangxi Province were assigned to Xin'an township. In 1958, it belonged to Shanli commune. In 1961, it established Xin'an commune. In 1983, it changed the commune to build a township, which is called Xin'an township.

Xin'an township is rich in tourism resources to be developed. The main landscapes include Xianyu mountain, ancient stage, Jiulong pool, alchemy stone, Longtan Temple, Yaolong cave, etc. the yuqingtang ancient stage was built in the eighth year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1896 AD) and is located in the ancestral hall of Zhao family in Zhulin formation of Xinglin village. It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The economic pillar of township industry is forestry and tea industry, with 6347 mu of demonstration forest farm, 11888 mu of demonstration base for returning farmland to forest, 12000 mu of Eucommia ulmoides as the main traditional Chinese medicine planting base, 2000 mu of high mountain tea base, and 5000 mu of pollution-free tea base.

Resource status

The construction of small market towns has begun to take shape, and the infrastructure is relatively perfect. The annual trading volume of Xin'an Jiancha primary trading market is more than 3000 tons, which is well-known in Anhui Jiangxi border. Xin'an is also an important distribution center of edible fungi and other agricultural products in mountainous areas along the border of Anhui and Jiangxi. In 2002, it has two Township Enterprises: Xin'an wood factory and Xin'an welfare oil factory. There are 6 private enterprises: yunguzi cushion factory, Lianhe Forest Farm wood processing factory, Xinglin quarry, hongrunfa wood processing factory and Xinxing wood processing factory. Their products are exported overseas.

economic construction

Rural agricultural technology station has developed famous tea brands such as "xianyushanjian tea" and "xianyushanjian tea"; in June 2002, it took the lead in setting up Xin'an goat breeding professional Technology Association; in December 2002, it set up Xin'an traditional Chinese medicine planting Association; in 2003, it guided farmers to cultivate nearly 2 million sticks of bagged edible fungi; and established Lianghekou goat breeding demonstration base, Xiawang goat breeding demonstration base, and other famous tea brands WUJIAZUI toad breeding demonstration base. Eucommia cultivation area has nearly 11000 mu, 3000 goats. the two major industries, mainly forest tea, focusing on the breeding of flustered goat and the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine based on Eucommia ulmoides, are the new highlights of the economic development of the township.

The main leaders of the party and government set up a project office, and special personnel were assigned to attract investment for a long time. Sanchuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Furong garment processing factory and Huangshan intelligent voice control Co., Ltd. were established and put into production. The total agreed investment is 12 million yuan, and 4.2 million yuan has been put in place.
