The agricultural economic structure has been gradually optimized, and the comprehensive agricultural production capacity has been significantly improved. In 2009, the planting area of grain crops in the town was 11250 mu, with a total output of 5000 tons. The popularization rate of high quality grain remained at 100%. In 2009, the high-yield demonstration areas of rice were established in Luoxing and Shima villages, with 100 mu each.
