The township government of the Yangtze River is 42 kilometers away from the county seat. It is adjacent to Aidong town in the East, Donglan town in the south, Fengshan County in the West and bachou Township in the north. Among them, there are 7499 Mu paddy fields and 3064 Mu dry land. it now has 10 villager committees and 187 villager groups, with a total population of more than 21000. In 2002, the fiscal revenue was 420000 yuan.

Economics

Changjiang township is a big agricultural township, because the local Party committee and government firmly grasp the economic structure adjustment as the main line, insist on making the characteristic industry bigger and stronger. at present, the development of chestnut and star anise in the township is more than 10000 mu and 3000 mu respectively; yellow sugarcane is an emerging industry in the township, reaching more than 800 Mu driven by the demonstration base; cage culture of fish in the reservoir area is more than 1000 mu, which has begun to take shape and achieved results; the characteristic breeding industries such as sanwuji breeding, hemp duck breeding and goose breeding are gradually promoted. Scientific cultivation and characteristic cultivation have become the main source of local farmers' income and financial revenue. Conversion of farmland to forest and biogas digester construction are two major ecological projects in the township. In recent years, 7000 mu of farmland has been converted to forest and more than 2000 biogas digesters have been built.
