Victory tells the story of the cooperation between the national army and the Eighth Route Army during the Anti Japanese War and the common cover of three progressive students who rushed to the rear base. Zhao Qun plays a commander of the National Army during the Anti Japanese war in the film, and the female soldiers of the Eighth Route Army, progressive female teachers and Japanese officers in the play are all played by female college students in Wuhan University.

Zhao Qun told reporters. Zhao's father and grandfather used to be laobalu in Shanxi Chahar Hebei Anti Japanese base area. As the descendants of veterans, the two brothers have been preparing to make this anti Japanese war film as a memorial to their predecessors.
