Sanshan Street

Sanshan Street office was established in April 2006 by the former Sanshan town. It is located in the south of Yijiang District, Wuhu City, connecting Fanchang District in the East, eqiao Town, the first tea city in Jiangnan in the south, Longhu street in the West and Baoding street in the north.

With a street area of 40.5 square kilometers and a population of 30439 (2010), it has jurisdiction over 6 village committees and 1 community neighborhood committee. At present, the office has four departments (i.e. Party and Government Comprehensive Department, social affairs department, construction management department and economic development department) with 10 Street leaders and 40 general staff. There are Wuhu Green Food Economic Development Zone and Linjiang Industrial Park. Sanshan has convenient transportation. S321 provincial road passes through the city from east to west, 17 kilometers away from the city center and 23 kilometers away from the railway station. There are Xinglong Street, Sanhua street, highway street, Tiancheng Road, Wutong road and other main streets in the territory, which have initially formed distinctive districts of catering service, living, commercial trade and industrial production. The main crops in the area are rice, cotton, rape, vegetables, fruits, melons and fruits.

Historical evolution

The three mountains have a long history, and the cultural origins of the Chang San Shan town, formed in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, flourished at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. There were thousands of people at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. There were thousands of lanterns at night, which depicted the flourishing scene at that time. There were still relics in the hall, the ancient Warring States pit, the Shang Zhou cultural site, the Ming Dynasty ceramic ruins, the Wenchang palace and the Town God's Temple. Month and Luhua, long-term cultural precipitation makes Sanshan street more cultural. In 1952, it became Sanshan District, changed to Sanshan commune in 1958, changed to township in 1984, and set up Sanshan town in 1985. Located in the north of Fanchang County, 17 kilometers away from the county. In 1996, it covers an area of 40.5 square kilometers and has a population of 27000. It governs 13 administrative villages and Sanshan neighborhood committee, including Sanshan, Moshan, Xinzhuang, Xucun, Laochong, Youshan, Tianqiao, Shuilu, suntan, Yueqiao, Hongxing, Changba and Laojie. In December 2003, Sanshan Town, Xiaozhou Township, Baoding Township and Zhonggou Township were merged into Sanshan town. In 2006, it was under the jurisdiction of Sanshan district. In the same year, the town was withdrawn and three streets, Baoding, Longhu and Sanshan, were set up. In 2020, the State Council approved the cancellation of Sanshan district and Yijiang District of Wuhu City in Anhui Province and the establishment of a new Yijiang District of Wuhu City. The former administrative regions of Sanshan district and Yijiang district are the new administrative regions of Yijiang District, and Sanshan street belongs to them.
