Yunfeng Street
Yunfeng street is located in the east of Suichang County, Zhejiang Province, at the West foot of Niutou. In April 2012, the town was changed into a street office. In the second volume of Suichang county annals, it is named after "East Niutou mountain, also known as Jiuyun peak". It is adjacent to Wuyi in the East, Lianzhu Township and Songyang County in the south, miaogao Town, xinluwan town and Beijie town in the west, and Jinhua County in the north. With a total area of 214 square kilometers, shehou village, the seat of the town government, is 220 meters above sea level and 17 kilometers away from the county seat.
General situation
Yunfeng is known as the "granary" of Suichang, and the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and sideline fishery are developing in an all-round way. In recent years, with the implementation of the plan of "strengthening the town by industry" and the construction of "metal products industrial professional zone" by the town Party committee and government, the town has gradually moved towards "industrial town". The town has 31 administrative villages, 151 natural villages and 276 production teams. By the end of 2004, the total population of the town was 21040, with 7026 households. The streets strive to create a demonstration area for scientific development in mountainous areas. According to the development space proposed by the county Party committee, the development path of "expanding from east to west", industrial cultivation of "developing strengths to make up weaknesses", and "three synchronization" of new industrialization, new urbanization, and agricultural modernization. Historical evolution
In the 14th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1381), Suichang was designated as 24 capitals of 4 townships, and Yunfeng town was the five capitals, six capitals, seven capitals and four capitals of Zizhong township. In 1729, Suichang county set up five townships and 22 capitals. Yunfeng town was the five capitals, six capitals, seven capitals and four capitals of Dongxiang. In May of the third year of Xuantong (1911), local autonomy was implemented. The county was divided into 10 autonomous regions, and Yunfeng town was under the jurisdiction of Zizhong district. During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the Second District, Jiaochuan district and urban district. In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was called Yunfeng township. In 1952, shehou district was set up, with jurisdiction over Yunfeng, Changlian, Dazhu, Luoyan and Xinmin. In 1956, Luoyan Township and Changlian township of Changlian, Maotian, Liuwu, Yanli were included. In 1958, it was called Yunfeng production brigade of Shuguang commune. In 1959, it was called Yunfeng management area of Chengguan society. In 1961, it was called Yunfeng commune. In 1983, it was called Yunfeng township. In 1989, it was called Yunfeng town. In 1992, the whole province implemented "withdrawing districts, expanding towns and merging townships", and Matou township was incorporated into the town. In April 2012, the Township Office was changed into the sub district office. Yunfeng, with 1341 hectares of arable land, is the main grain producing area of Suichang County, known as the "granary" of Suichang.
