Wangjiapu Township, belonging to Cangxian County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Cangxian County, bordering Jiuzhou town in the East, liujiamiao Township in the south, zhangguantun Township in the southwest, Jiedi Hui Township in the northwest, fengfengdian Township and Cangzhou Economic Development Zone in the north, 6.5 thousand meters away from Cangxian people's government, with a total area of 87 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1950, wangjiapu township was located in the Sixth District of Cangxian county.

In 1955, it was divided into five districts of Cangxian county and built wangjiapu township.

In January 1958, it belongs to Qilidian township.

In the autumn of 1958, four townships, namely Jiedi, Qilidian, zhangguantun and muguantun, merged to form Dongfeng first commune (in Jiedi), belonging to Dongxinzhuang management area.

In 1961, Jiandong Xinzhuang commune was founded, and in the same year, it was renamed wangjiapu commune.

In 1984, it was changed to wangjiapu township.

In 1996, Qilidian township was incorporated.
