Qinghu Street

Qinghu street is subordinate to the sub district office of Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the southwest suburb of Jiangshan City, adjacent to Wanyao Township and Changtai town in the East, Shimen town in the south, Hecun town in the West and Hushan street in the north. It is 7.5 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 71.50 square kilometers. Now it is one of the three streets in Jiangshan City. It has jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee and 30 administrative villages, with a total of 10 084 households and 41 000 people. In 2016, the GDP of the whole street reached 561.3 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers increased to 6228 yuan·

In May 1992, Jiangshan district was withdrawn, towns were expanded and townships were merged, Qinghu Township and hehe Township were abolished, and Qinghu town was established. The total area under the jurisdiction is 73.42 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 26587.6 mu. It has jurisdiction over 1 neighborhood committee, 26 administrative villages, 111 natural villages, 280 villager groups, 11222 households and 36000 people. In 2009, the per capita net income of farmers reached 8305 yuan.

Qinghu is an important industrial town. There are 21 large-scale enterprises with an output value of more than 5 million yuan. Now they have basically formed three key industries of injection molding, mechanical and electrical industry and wood processing. This year, the industrial output value has reached 1.511 billion yuan and the foreign trade export has reached 78.37 million yuan.

Qinghu is a suburban agricultural town. Pillar industries include vegetables, pigs, edible fungi, flowers and seedlings. In 2006, the area of multiple cropping of vegetables was 15200 mu, the number of live pigs was 150200, the number of edible fungi was 15290000 bags, and the number of flower seedlings was 2000 mu.

Qinghu town is also a civilized ancient town with a long history of 3600 years. Qinghu wharf is famous far and wide. According to the dictionary of place names of the Republic of China, "Qinghu, Zhejiang and Fujian are important places to meet. The Qinghu lake is famous for its outstanding people, numerous literati and intellectuals. At the end of 2005, it covers an area of 67.2 square kilometers and has a population of 33900. It has jurisdiction over Qinghu No.1, Qinghu No.2, Qinghu No.3, LuChen, caijiashan, xintangdi, Jiaokou, Tongjia, Qidou, Caijia, Maotang, fuqiaotou, zhujiaban, quanjialong, Xiyi, Chaijia, Jiucun, Shicun, waihouzhou, Shanhe, Huhe, Shikou, Lingshan, Shangwu, hecang, duxikou, Dongru, guobu and Shanlong Huayuangang 30 administrative villages, the town government in Qinghu Post Road 21. In 2007, Qiancun village of Wanyao township was put under the jurisdiction of Qinghu town; after the adjustment, Qinghu town governs 32 administrative villages, and the town government remains unchanged (No.1 Hangshan Road).

In June 2017, Qinghu town was abolished and Qinghu street was established.

Industry
