Qianduo town

Qianduo town belongs to Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province. It's named for the "various styles of crenels and fields". It's located in the northern suburb of Xinghua City. The annual Xinghua cauliflower Festival is held here to attract tourism and economic and trade groups at home and abroad to enjoy the beautiful scenery of "rivers with thousands of bays of clear water, fields without stacks of yellow flowers". Qianduo Town People's government is located in Guzhao village committee, with its office address at No. 39, Lijian South Road. Qianduo town has an administrative area of 192.8 square kilometers and a population of 82300. It has jurisdiction over two neighborhood committees and 36 village committees.

Evolution of organizational system

Qianduo town was established on August 6, 2018. In the reply of Jiangsu provincial government on adjusting some administrative divisions of Lishui District, Xinghua City and Sihong County of Nanjing City (suzhengfu [2018] No. 30), qianduo town of Xinghua City was established, Ganggu Township, Lizhong town and Xijiao town of Xinghua City were abolished, and qianduo town of Xinghua City was established. Qianduo town is set up in the areas under the jurisdiction of former Ganggu Township and Lizhong Town, and 13 village committee areas of Xijiao Town, namely, South China, Liulian, Beixing, sunzhang, Xingxi, Xiaxu, jiangdai, Magang, dingsha, Chenyang, dangzhu, Xuwei and Beisha. Qianduo Town People's government is located in Guzhao village committee, with its office address at 39 Lijian South Road. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, qianduo town has an administrative area of 192.8 square kilometers, a population of 82300, and jurisdiction over two neighborhood committees and 36 village committees.

On the morning of August 6, 2018, qianduo town held an inaugural meeting, which was attended by all town cadres, village (responsible area) leaders, party and government leaders of all units and departments, Secretary of veteran cadre branch, representatives of Municipal People's Congress, municipal Party Representatives and municipal CPPCC members.
