Guiwu town

Guiwu town is located in the south of Xuyi county. It is a hilly area, 15 kilometers away from Xuyi county. It is the central intersection of Southern towns in Xuyi county. Xuchu highway passes through the center of the town. The town borders mudian town in the East, tianquanhu town in the south, Qiuji town in the West and Gusang street in the north. It is a hilly and low mountain area with convenient transportation.

Chestnut, grass chicken, sesame oil and organic rice are the special agricultural products of the town, among which "Osmanthus fragrans" brand Xiaomo sesame oil is the superior product of the Ministry. In 2005, the GDP of the town was 170 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 3.545 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3710 yuan.

There are a lot of basaltic rocks and attapulgite clay in the area. The town is rich in water resources. There are seven large and small reservoirs, including Guiwu reservoir, Longwangshan reservoir and tianquanhu reservoir.
