Huajialaga Township

Huajialaga township is located in the east of Balinzuoqi. The township government is 25 kilometers away from the seat of Balinzuoqi government. In the East, it borders on the East shabutai township of AQI. It is adjacent to baiyingou Township and Lindong town in the south, Fengshuishan town in the West and Sanshan Township in the north.

The whole territory is hilly and mountainous area, inclined from northeast to southwest, with an average altitude of 649 meters. The township is dominated by dry farming, with an average annual precipitation of 350-400mm, crop growth greater than or equal to 10 degrees, accumulated temperature of 2300-2500 degrees, frost free period of 115-125 days, belonging to semi-arid climate zone; there are 13 administrative villages and 22 natural villages in the township, with a total population of 14258 (2017), a total area of 327.51 square kilometers, a cultivated area of 128300 mu, including 20000 mu of irrigated land. There are 124000 Mu forest area, including 50000 Mu mountain apricot forest area. There are 45000 livestock in stock, including 20500 sheep, 9000 pigs, 6000 horses, cattle, donkeys and mules. There are 397 private enterprises and self-employed industrial and commercial households in the township, with an annual total output value of 69 million yuan at current price and 400000 yuan in storage taxes. In 2002, the per capita income of the township was 1600 yuan and the fiscal revenue was 1.36 million yuan.
