Daxin County Daxin County is a border county in Guangxi, China, and also a county under the jurisdiction of Chongzuo City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Daxin County is located in the southwest of Guangxi, between latitude 22 ° 29 ′ ~ 23 ° 05 ′, longitude 106 ° 39 ′ ~ 107 ° 29 ′. It is adjacent to Longan County in the northeast, Tiandeng County in the north, Jingxi city in the northwest, Longzhou County in the southwest, and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the West. The national boundary is more than 40 kilometers long, and the county people's government is 143 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital of the autonomous region.

Daxin County has a long history. In the early Neolithic age, more than 4500 years ago, there were human activities here. Daxin is an area where Tusi ruled for a long time and the system is relatively complete. On January 25, 2019, it was selected as the national "safe agricultural machinery" Demonstration County in 2018.

Located in the southern margin of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, the terrain of the county is higher in the north and lower in the south, and many small basins are formed between the mountains. There are Cambrian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian and Quaternary strata in the county. Cambrian, Lower Devonian and lower Carboniferous are siliceous, Sandy and argillaceous with limestone facies, which constitute earth mountains and hills, accounting for about 20% of the total area of the county. They are forestry development areas. The upper Devonian, Upper Carboniferous and Permian are limestone facies, forming peak cluster, peak forest and arc Peak topography, accounting for about 25% of the total area of the county. The quaternary system is composed of clay, loam, sandy soil or clastic rock. It is developed in the dissolution plain, round depression and trough valley, accounting for about 25% of the total area of the county. It is the main farming area, and the larger areas are Leiping, Taocheng and Quanming dissolution plain.

The landform of Daxin County extends southward from the northwest and northeast corner respectively, with high in the north and low in the south. It is long in East and West and narrow in North and south, and looks like a crouching lion (East head, West tail, North back and south foot). In the east of the county, there are xiaomingshan mountains, which incline from east to west and southwest, extending to the edge of Longmen, Changming, Fulong and Lanwei townships; in the north of the county, there are also Xidamingshan mountains, which are on the west side of the county, winding from east to west at the edge of Taocheng, Quanming, Xinzhen and Naling townships; in the West and northwest of the county, the mountain ranges cover an area of 97 square kilometers, and the mountains are continuous in Xialei in the West and northwest of the county In ShuoLong and ShuoLong townships; in the south of the county, there are hills lying in the station and Xinli village of Leiping town in the southeast; in Huaiyi village of Zhenxing Township, Huaiyang village and Renhe village of Lanwei Township, the hills are undulating and overlapping; in the middle, northeast and southwest of the county, there are peak forests composed of limestone mountains, the terrain in the middle is inclined from north to East, and the terrain in the southwest is inclined from west to Southeast.

The annual average temperature is 21.3 ℃. The annual average sunshine hours are 1597 hours and the annual average shower is 1362 mm.

Historical evolution

Before the establishment of the county, it belonged to Luoyue Prefecture; Qin belonged to Xiangjun Prefecture. Xiang county was abolished in 76 BC.

The Han Dynasty belonged to Linchen County, the Three Kingdoms belonged to Linpu County, the Eastern Jin, song, Qi, Liang and Chen belonged to Jinxing County, and the Sui belonged to Yulin County.

In Tang Dynasty, it was under the control of Yong. Five prefectures were established, namely Xiyuan prefecture (now Xialei), Bozhou prefecture (now Anping), Wancheng prefecture (now Longmen), Yangli prefecture (now Taocheng) and Sicheng prefecture (now Ensheng).

Five Dynasties and ten States belong to Yizhou, xiyuanzhou changed to luohedong.

After Song Dynasty, it belonged to Yongguan, luohedong was changed to xialeizhou, Taiping, Quanming and Mingying were added, Bozhou was changed to Anping: the whole county was divided into eight states: Xialei, Taiping, Anping, Wancheng, Yangli, Encheng, Quanming and Mingying, belonging to Zuojiang Road, Taiping Road in Yuan Dynasty (Xialei belongs to Zhenan Road), and Taiping mansion in Zuojiang road in Ming Dynasty (Xialei belongs to Zhenan mansion).

The Qing Dynasty belonged to the Taiping government.

Before 1929, Yangli County belonged to Zuojiang road first, and then Longzhou District of Guangxi Province.

After the founding of new China, Yangli, Leiping and Wancheng counties belonged to Longzhou special region in 1950; Chongzuo special region in 1951 and Yongning special region in 1952; Guixi Zhuang Autonomous Region in December 1952; Guixi Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture in 1956; Yongning special region was established in 1958; Nanning special region was renamed Nanning special region in 1970 After that, it belongs to Nanning area.

On December 28, 2002, Nanning District was abolished and Chongzuo city was established. Daxin County belonged to Chongzuo city.

Medicinal materials are honeysuckle, cijiao, Shegan, bergamot, Melaleuca, etc. The resources of Smilax glabra, Lysimachia christinae and honeysuckle are rich. There are pine, fir, Sophora wood, golden plum, Melia azedarach, Toona sinensis and so on. Grasses include thatch, reed, fern, Miscanthus, Eulaliopsis binata, yellow backed grass, Setaria viridis, withered grass, knobby grass, Miscanthus caryophyllus, timangji, Eulaliopsis ciliata, heartbroken grass, etc.

There are pheasants, pheasants, partridges, sparrows, great tits and so on. Mammals are civet, wild cat, golden cat, clouded leopard, fox, mountain pig, tiger, flying tiger, etc. Reptiles are pangolins, pythons, mountain snakes, wind snakes and so on. Insects are bees, wasps, black bees and so on. Aquatic products include turtle, carp, silver carp, mud carp, crucian carp, catfish, etc.

Longan fruit forest with an annual output of 10 million kg of fresh fruit and an area of 2466.66 hectares. It is one of the six longan bases in China, known as the "hometown of longan".

Travel

Lianshan (now known as Hongshan) 99 peak, located in Leiping town and Zhenxing Township, about 40 km away from the county seat, 483 meters above sea level, is one of the rare natural wonders.

Elephant peak is located in the west of Fulong township government, about 40 kilometers away from the county seat, about 250 meters high. Looking from the East, it is short-sighted and looks like an elephant, with a big body, a long nose and a low head, just like looking for food.

Jinyinqifeng is located on the right bank of Taocheng River in the west of the county, 1km away from the county. Qifeng stands on an open lawn, like a golden seal handle.

Baoxian peak forest is 4km away from the county seat. It is located in Baoxian village in the west of the city. Dozens of small peaks stand on the Tuling slope.

Golden Lion Peak is located on the side of the highway 5 kilometers southeast of the county. On the top of the peak stands a single peak about 100 meters high. On the top of the peak lies a skillful stone, which looks like a frog from the West. Climbing up the hillside on the left side looks like a lion. The ancients called it "cloud and mist Qianzhang peak", which is one of the ten scenic spots in Yangli county.

Yuquan, formerly known as Maquan, is located at the foot of Beibei mountain, the seat of Leiping town government, about 30 kilometers away from the county seat. The water flows out from the stone crevice all the year round, clear and colorless.

Detian waterfall is located at the foot of PUTANG Island, which borders on Vietnam in Detian village, ShuoLong Township, 78 kilometers away from the county seat. The waterfall falls down from the 40 meter high and 100 meter wide cliff, forming a three-layer natural waterfall.

Shatun waterfall is located in the Guichun reach of Shatun, ShuoLong village, ShuoLong Township, about 50 kilometers away from the county. The river flows down from the 10 meter high reach. There are four low slopes under the water, with a difference of about 2-3 meters.

Encheng Wildlife Nature Reserve is located in the south of Ensheng Huguo village, 33 kilometers away from the county. The total area is about 320000 mu (with forest area of 34000 Mu and forest volume of 51000 m3).

The population density of Daxin County (average population per square kilometer) was 57.7 in 1949, 113 in 1982 and 118 in 1985.
