Ru Gu Han Jin is one of the 40 sceneries of Yuanmingyuan.

Ruguhanjin, also known as shaojingxuan, is located in the west of Jiuzhou Qingyan and faces Houhu Lake in the East, covering an area of 9000 square meters and a construction area of 3300 square meters.

The scene is the place for the emperor to study in winter. It is spacious and quiet all around. It has always been a place where the emperors and ministers talked about the past and the present, recited poems and painted. Ru Gu Han Jin scenic area also collects a large number of Qing Dynasty emperors and ministers of the original painting and calligraphy.

Cultural relic landscape

Ruguhanjin, also known as shaojingxuan, is located in the west of Jiuzhou Qingyan and faces Houhu Lake in the East, covering an area of 9000 square meters and a construction area of 3300 square meters. the landscape was built around 1739, the fourth year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong. There are 39 temples, rooms, corridors and platforms, 148 rooms (73 corridors), one big pavilion with double eaves, one vertical flower gate and five wall gates. In 1768, there was a great reconstruction. the scene is the place where the emperor studied in winter, and the decoration is luxurious. There are nanmu board, red sandalwood frame and nanmu core in the room. The scene is full of pine and willows, and the bamboo forest is in front of zhuxiangzhai. The main body of Ru Guhan today is a square hall, in which there is a "shaojingxuan" written by Emperor Qianlong. Shaojingxuan is located in the northernmost part of the scenic area. The second floor of shaojingxuan is the best place to enjoy the Xishan Mountain and Houhu lake. In order to better enjoy the scenery of the west mountain and the back lake, Ru Gu Han is now surrounded by a flat area with no high mountains, and the rest of the buildings are also relatively low.
