Prawns and lotus

Raw materials for making prawns and lotus

160 grams of pastry, 100 grams of bean paste filling, 2.5 grams of cocoa powder.

The steps of making prawns and lotus are as follows:

1. Roll the pastry into a roll and pull it into 16 pieces. Roll the dough into long strips with a rolling pin, wrap in the bean paste stuffing, and knead it into a long stick shaped embryo by hand to make a shrimp tail. Use the blade to cut three or four edges on the embryo, and use the thin pliers made of pastry to stick on the embryo. Mix the dough with cocoa powder, knead well, pull two small pinch to make eyes stick on the embryo. Roll out a long strip of flour preparation, cut it into 1cm wide strips with a knife, cut one knife at each end of the strip, rinse the middle part with eggs, and stick it to the lower part of the shrimp head to form two shrimp tongs.

2. Brush the egg liquid on the embryo, put it into the oven and bake it. Put it on the plate, make lotus and lotus leaf with sugar, and put it on the plate as a foil.
