Qingdao Longshan road Christian Church

No. 4, Longshan Road, is the former club of Qingdao Christian meeting place. Funded by Chen Ziwan, a believer in the gathering place, it was built in 1943 and dedicated to the church for gathering. At that time, because the meeting place did not participate in the North China Christian group of the Japanese puppet regime, the meeting was stopped, so the meeting place was not used after it was completed.

After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, around the beginning of 1946, the meeting place was officially used. After the union meeting in 1958, the believers at the meeting place still gathered here. They will move in after the Sabbath and meet here on Saturday morning.

Around 1960, the club was occupied by the Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). The cake breaking party at the meeting place was moved to 31 Jining road and Sao Paulo hall. In 1962, the Council moved out and the party moved back. In 1965, the meeting stopped, and the club was used as a simple ward by Qingdao Medical College.

Around 1985, the believers of the former meeting place resumed the breaking bread meeting in Lutang, Jiangsu Province. In 1994, the party moved back to the club at 4 Longshan road. By 2003, believers at the original meeting place had resumed their training meeting, traffic meeting and prayer meeting one after another at 4 Longshan road.

Qingdao Saturday Party (the original Sabbath party) came to Qingdao from Jinan in May 1928. Before liberation, the party address was the house sermon party at no.20a Anhui Road. In 1958, the United Christian Service was carried out, and the meeting on Saturday was moved to No. 4 church on Longshan road.

There are about 2000 believers in Qingdao's Saturday gatherings, and about 350-400 people often attend the gatherings. They hold a humble foot washing and Holy Communion every quarter.

After the joint meeting in 1958, No. 4 church on Longshan road was managed by the two Christian churches in Qingdao. At present, pastor Dong Yankui is in charge. There are four to five hundred people at the party.
