Yuanlongsun old house is located at 120 Xinhua Road, Heping District. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Tianjin. It is a historic building with key protection level. Now it is an office building. "Yuanlong sun" refers to the sun family, the founder and manager of Yuanlong silk and cloth shop, represented by sun Fuxuan and sun Zhongkai. Sun Jianxuan? He was an apprentice of yitaichang cloth shop and later promoted to manager. In 1896, he established Yuanlong silk cloth shop in joint venture with others. In 1915, he established Jinfeng bank, Yuanyu and yuanjusha cloth shop in joint venture. After his death, he was succeeded by his second son sun Zhongkai. Sun Zhongkai (1898-1966) was named xiangqi. In 1921, he took over the post of manager of Yuanlong silk shop. He set up Qingsheng cotton yarn shop to sell the cotton yarn of Yuyuan cotton yarn factory. He also invested in other cotton yarn shops, as well as silver shops and rice noodle shops. Later, he set up a new "Yuanlong" shop in quanyechang and Xiaobailou. He was one of the eight new businessmen in Tianjin during the Republic of China.

The old house, built in 1933, was inhabited by sun Zhongkai and his people. The building covers an area of about 3100 square meters, with a construction area of about 3000 square meters. Designed by Yan Ziheng, architect of China Engineering Department, it is a two-story building with brick concrete structure, multi slope roof and fair faced brick wall. The building has a strong sense of integrity and has the characteristics of classical architecture.
