Xiadu Park

Xiadu Park, formerly known as Guihe old river, was built in 1995. It was built by digging a lake in the upper reaches of Guishui River, which flows through Yanqing city. It echoes with Guichuan square, the city's famous Central Green Square built in 1998. The park covers a total area of 3500 mu, including 1000 mu of water area. It is divided into East and West Lake areas by Guishui bridge. The East Lake area is called East Lake, and the West Lake area is called Lianhua Lake.

brief introduction

Xiadu park has a driving range of 18000 square meters, with a tee area of 1224 square meters. More than ten kinds of fitness equipment are installed in the fitness park on one side of the driving range for tourists' leisure and fitness. In the middle of the north bank is a 2900 square meter water stage where large-scale artistic performances can be held. There are more than 3500 square meters of cruise ship docks on the East and west sides of the lake, from which all water activities start.

Southeast corner of the park

The southeast corner of the park is a dynamic cinema with a construction area of 500 square meters. In the center of the lake is a large laser music fountain, which is composed of 551 nozzles and 256 colored lights. The diameter of the fountain is 80 meters, and the maximum lift can reach 118 meters.

Reconstruction of Donghu District

In 2000, Donghu District was reconstructed, covering an area of 2580 mu, with pedestrian paths around the lake, cast iron fences, 4900 square meters of parking lots and public toilets. At the same time, a landmark building, a 9-story antique pagoda and an arch bridge, will be built in the park.

Pursue goals

The goal of Xiadu park is to become a comprehensive ecological protection area in the center of the city. During the two years from 1999 to 2000, nearly 30000 seedlings, thousands of flowers and more than 90000 square meters of lawn were planted in the garden.

Theme Sculpture Park

On August 15, 2001, the largest theme sculpture park in China was completed in Xiadu park. This sculpture exhibition invited famous sculptors from nine countries in Asia, Europe, the United States and Africa, and 50 sculptures created by 51 Chinese and foreign sculptors were permanently preserved in Xiadu park for the world to watch. The works use stone and metal materials to express their respective understanding of "human life and nature" through concrete or abstract art forms.

Music Park

Xiadu park is a music Park, no matter where visitors are in the park, they will hear relaxed and beautiful background music. The garden also installed fireworks lights, lawn lights, floor lights, courtyard lights, high pole lights, wall lights, street lights and other lamps. At night, colorful lights complement each other, making Xiadu park more beautiful.

By bus: take bus no.919 at Beijing Deshengmen, get off at Dongguan station and walk there.
