Dongsi Mosque
Dongsi mosque is one of the mosques in Beijing, also known as faming temple. It was built on Dongsi South Street in 1356, rebuilt in 1447 and rebuilt in 1920. The temple sits in the West and faces the East, with three gates and a building area of 10000 square meters, which has typical architectural features of the Ming Dynasty.

Scale system
It is mainly composed of the main hall for worship, North and South lecture hall, water room and library. The main hall is resplendent, with carved beams and painted buildings. Three arches are engraved with the scriptures of the Koran. The hall can accommodate more than 500 people to worship at the same time. The kiln hall behind the hall is a beamless dome structure. Looking up, it is deep and mysterious. Dongsi mosque is the site of Beijing Islamic Association and the place where Muslims worship.
