Former site of governor's mansion primary school (Jiangsu Road Primary School)

Built from December 1900 to August 1901, it was designed by German architect bernaz and constructed by Piccolo company. The building is symmetrical in shape, the gate is set in the center, the middle part of the concave building is higher than the buildings on both sides, and it is a two-story building. The south wall of the main building is open, the bottom floor is arched by several vertical stone columns, the top floor is equipped with a wooden balcony decorated with Chinese carving, the facade of the building is painted with coarse ash, and the East and west sides are relatively closed, with four classrooms and teachers' rooms.

After the German occupation of Qingdao, the children's School of the governor's mansion was built in 1900 to accommodate German noble students in Qingdao.

In 1922, the Chinese government took back Qingdao and renamed it Jiangsu Road Primary School. In 1999, when the school was rebuilt, the original architectural style was retained.
