Jinboyang Park

Jinboyang park is located in the west of Jiefang Bridge in Lushun and the east of victory tower, covering an area of more than 10000 square meters, facing the military port in Lushun. The park is named in memory of Jin Boyang, the Anti Japanese national hero in Lushun. In the middle of jinboyang Park, a 4-meter-high bronze bust of jinboyang stands. The front base of the bronze statue is engraved with gold characters inscribed by Bo Yibo: "Anti Japanese national hero Jin Boyang".

The inscription on the back is inscribed: "Jin Bo Yang, formerly known as Jin Yongxu, 19 0, born in November 15th at the old fellow Gold Mountain in Jin seven. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1929. In 1931, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 1932, he commanded the Anti Japanese guerrilla war with Yang Jingyu in Panshi County, Northeast China. On November 15, 1933, he died in the battle with the enemy in hanlongwan, Jinchuan county. He was 26 years old. With his fearless heroism, he realized his lofty ambition of "only shining the sun and the moon with his heart, willing to shed his blood on the river and mountain".

Jin Boyang, a famous leader of the Northeast workers' movement, was called an anti Japanese national hero who died to save the country in the declaration of August 1 of the CPC Central Committee.

In August 1999, the Boyang Park in Lushun was named the patriotic education base by the CPC Dalian Municipal Committee and Dalian municipal government.
