Han Yunjie old house Han Yunjie old house is located at 46 Youhao street, Jinzhou district. It was built in 1938 and is a Japanese garden building. This was the official residence of Han Yunji, Minister of economy of Manchuria. Han Yunjie was born in Jinzhou in 1894 and graduated from Nagoya higher business school in 1916. During the September 18th Incident in 1931, Han Yunjie was introduced by his partner in Heilongjiang Yixiang flour mill and Japanese Prime Minister Jinwu, and met with Japanese army staff officer Sakurai iwaki. Since then, he embarked on the traitor road of betraying the country and seeking honor. In 1932, Han Yunjie became governor of Heilongjiang Province of Manchuria. He was loyal to Japan and planned to kill the Anti Japanese armed forces with Lin Yixiu. More than 70 soldiers were killed. He also attacked the Anti Japanese troops of Ma Zhanshan and Su Bingwen, forcing them into the territory of the Soviet Union. In 1933, Han Yunjie was removed from the post of governor for embezzling 600000 yuan in loans. In the summer of 1935, Han Yunjie took the post of mayor of Xinjing special city through the intervention of Shoichiro Tanigaki, deputy chief of staff of the Kwantung Army. In 1937, he became the economic minister of Manchuria. In the later period of puppet Manchukuo, Han Yunjie became the president of puppet Manchukuo Electric Power Association. He had been active frequently, dreaming of replacing the old and useless Zhang Jinghui as the Prime Minister of the puppet Manchukuo. Because Zhang Jinghui is old and never dies, his dream of premier has not been realized. On March 18, 1946, the democratic government of Jinxian County announced the confiscation of all the land and houses of Han Yunjie, Minister of economy of Manchukuo. In 1982, Han Yunjie died in the United States.
