The reminiscent Gulangyu Museum officially opened on May 1, 2006. The museum is located in a distinctive red brick building at 38 Huangyan road. The red brick building at No.38 Huangyan Road, formerly known as the chamchi Bank of Germany, has a certain historical background and is the best preserved red brick building in Gulangyu.
