Fan cliff

Fanziya is located in the west of Xixi, Mount Tai. Here, the peak is abrupt, towering and steep. It is shaped like a fan, so it is named. On the cliff, there are inscriptions of "cactus" by people of Ming Dynasty. There are iron ladders in the west of the cliff. You can see Longjiao mountain in the north, Aolai peak in the West and Longtan Reservoir in the East. The scenery is beautiful.

Fanziya is located on the west side of Xixi in Taishan Mountain. It has a steep peak and is shaped like a fan, so it is called fanziya. On the cliff, Yang Bo, a man of Ming Dynasty, inscribed "cactus" on the cliff. There are iron ladders in the west of the cliff. You can climb to the top of the cliff. You can see Longjiao mountain in the north. You can see jiunvzhai clearly and Aolai peak in the West. Looking down to the East, Longtan Reservoir is like a bright pearl inlaid in Xixi. Sun Baotong, a man of the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem: "the sword peak stabs the sky angrily, accumulating iron to pull out a thousand Ren; it lies on the edge of the ghost Valley, leaning on the foot of the ruler." it really describes the charm of fan cliff. Fanziya peak is extremely steep, and the red eyebrow army once set up watchposts on the top. In the Ming Dynasty, the king of Ju Ren had no desire to build the top of Shi Ya, and later built the top of Shi Ya. There is a folk legend that "open fan cliff and carry gold and silver home". In 1990, according to the cliff chisel step, build ladder, in order to climb. At the junction of peaks and cliffs is the mountain pass, with fanziya temple in front, Damu palace in the West and Taiyang temple in the West. There is Zhenwu cave in front of the hall. It was built in the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. It is inscribed with the title of "Xuantian God" and worships Zhenwu God and golden maids. The former site is Huixian nunnery, but the present house foundation and stone temple still exist. There is also a huge stone beside the East Road, on which there is a line engraved in the early years of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. In the south of the temple, there is nongshuiyan across the stream. The two peaks rise, and the stream flows eastward to the West baizhangya, where it pours into Xixi. Behind the pass is the long valley Jue stream, named Qingtong stream. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, most of the mountain people gathered green Tung sprouts to make tea, which was called daughter tea. There is Huping cliff in the north of the stream, which is named for its abrupt shape.

Development history

In 1984, Yingsheng neighborhood committee invited experts to discuss and formulate the development and construction plan of fanziya scenic spot. In 1988, with the approval of Taian municipal government, 18 projects have been completed since 1996. With a total investment of more than 5.2 million yuan, 160000 projects have been completed and more than 60000 cubic meters of earthwork have been completed. In the Yuan Dynasty, 53 statues were rebuilt in Tianzun temple, Wuji temple and Taiyang temple. In addition, fanziya Hotel, restaurant, public toilet, parking lot, Tiansheng bridge, 15000 cubic meters reservoir dam, water pipe and lift system, electric wire, 2638 meters of winding road were built. There are rest points along the way, with food and drink. In 1999, a ladder to the top was set up on the dangerous cactus. Become a wonderful place for tourists to enter the range rover. In recent years, 20000-30000 tourists visit fanziya every year.

Main attractions

The main peak of fanziya stands in the center of the scenic spot. Wang Wuyu, a famous scholar in Ming Dynasty, once built a study room at the top of the cliff, and invested in the construction of Yuanshi Tianzun hall, Taiyang temple, luzu temple and other temples. There are many cultural relics and temples here. The terrain of the scenic spot is dangerous and important, which has been valued by military experts of all ages. At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, fan Chong led the "red eyebrow army" to Tiansheng village, where he trained his troops and accumulated strength. Now in the woods and fields, the Zha Zhang stone, school yard, stone mill, stone deer and stone mortar of the "red eyebrow army" are indisputable. The scenic area is characterized by high mountains, numerous Jianfeng mountains, towering ancient trees, flying rare birds, and murmuring streams. Natural scenic spots such as moon cave, camel peak, cone peak, monkey stone, fresh peach stone, Huping cliff, mother and son pine, persimmon (Pepsi), Ruyi tree, etc. During the Ming Dynasty, incense flourished in Tianzun hall and its surrounding temples. During the cultural revolution, historical sites and antiquities were destroyed. The temple was knocked down, the stone tablet was smashed and pushed into the ravine, and all kinds of statues disappeared.

From the top, you can see Longjiao mountain in the north, Aolai peak in the West and Longtan Reservoir in the East. According to textual research, Wu Chengen, the author of journey to the west, went to Beijing to catch up

Inspired by his visit to Fanzi cliff, Kao wrote many of the scenery here into the story. Fanziya is princess Tiefan's fan. Aolaifeng is the original site of aolaiguo. There are also devil cave, shituoling, Shihou Guanhai, etc.
